2026 General Election: Political Parties’ Tax Policies

Tax policy is an important element of every political party's vision for New Zealand's future. Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) is bringing together representatives from political parties to discuss their key tax policies heading into the upcoming 2026 General Election. Through discussion with political party representatives, attendees will gain insight into how different parties intend to approach tax policy and the role they see it playing in supporting New Zealand's long-term economic and fiscal future. The event will also provide an opportunity to explore CA ANZ’s election advocacy - which includes our focus on the long-term sustainability of New Zealand's tax base - and how different parties propose to respond to the challenges and opportunities facing the country.
